=> Way #1 – OFFER A FREEBIE

You have to give in order to receive. If you want people to offer up their email address, you’re going to have to offer up an incentive. It’s a fair trade – just make sure you offer value.

=> Way #2 – USE POP-UPS

Pop-ups are one of the most common methods you can use to capture email addresses and build your email list quickly and with ease provided you use them responsibly. Simply construct a web page containing code for a form and set the page to open (pop up) when visitors ENTER OR EXIT your site.

=> Way #3 – USE POSTCARDS

If you have a mailing list that contains snail mail (street) addresses, convert it into an email list by sending out a postcard and inviting people to VISIT YOUR WEBSITE to receive a gift of some kind — a report, a discount coupon, etc. Visitors don’t have to pay in order to receive their gifts; they simply need to enter an email address. Plus, you’ll save a ton in postage.

=> Way #4 – SUBSCRIBER BOX ON EVERY PAGE

This is a clever trick that so many people overlook. Put a RESPONSE FORM ON EVERY PAGE of your website offering a newsletter or other freebie. This will increase the number of email addresses you capture exponentially.

=> Way #5 – CONTESTS

Contests very often prove to be a good way to generate traffic and buzz for your business. Create a contest and put a form on your site or in a pop-up box. The entry “fee” is their email address.

=> Way #6 – DISPLAY YOUR AUTORESPONDER ADDRESS

Most people give their website link when they place solo ads, ezine ads, or other marketing messages. To be one step ahead of the game in collecting email addresses, LIST YOUR AUTORESPONDER ADDRESS instead of your URL. This way you can capture email addresses and funnel them into your follow-up sales letters.

=> Way #7 – JUST ASK

If you’re chatting with a prospect on the phone or a potential customer stops by your place of business, don’t be shy: ask for an email address or business card (which usually includes their email address).

As an astute business owner, do you sometimes wonder…

“Just how do these companies pull it off… Why do their customers take such initiative to tell the world about their wonderful experience, while most of my customers seem to purchase my product or service and then fade away into a black hole somewhere in cyberspace?”

Well, there’s an altruistic question you need to immediately ask yourself….

“How many times have I followed up with my customers and actually asked them about their shopping experience?”

The fact is, if you sell a product or service online in your own Internet home business, there’s no “sneaky little trick” or “magic formula” for obtaining authentic and powerful testimonials. The problem is… YOU HAVE TO ASK! And that’s where most online businesses fall short.

Here’s a perfect example…

Take a look at eBay. Here’s a marketplace where anyone and everyone is buying and selling goods and services. Ironically, a buyer usually finds that their only reassurance in making a purchase is by reading over a “Seller’s Feedback”. And guess what… everyone selling on eBay has feedback.
Why? Because ebay sellers ask for it! And they keep asking for it until they receive it. It’s the ebay way of doing business.

If you’ve ever bought or sold an item on ebay, you know that feedback is by far a seller’s most important selling tool. And most good sellers have hundreds, even thousands of testimonials from buyers telling the world about their wonderful experience.
Do you think this would still be the case if EVERY seller didn’t immediately ask for feedback after a sale? Absolutely not! They too have to ask for it…. AND SO DO YOU!

So, how do you ask your customers for their testimonials without feeling like you’re desperately seeking their praise or approval? Actually, it’s quite easy and should be something you do methodically after each and every sale.

I’ve been known to pound the technique of customer follow up into the ground, and here again is no exception. You have to follow up with your customer to make sales, and you have to follow up with your customers to solicit their testimonials. Once again, it’s just another example to demonstrate the importance of customer follow up.

Here’s a guaranteed way to obtain the feedback you’re looking for…

After a sale (and you can incorporate this technique into a product sale or service), immediately send a confirmation email to your customer. In fact, most shopping carts will automatically do this for you. If selling a physical product, once their package ships, immediately send your customer their tracking number. Then, no longer than seven to ten days after their tracking number is sent, send another follow up email asking your customer if they received their package and if they have any questions or concerns that need to be addressed.

Now that’s customer service at its best!

You need to take your Internet home business to the next level.

At this point, your customer is now primed and ready for the pitch. Without fail, within one or two days after you’ve emailed your customer to be sure their package arrived safely (and you’ve also answered their questions), follow up with another email asking for their feedback about their shopping experience.

Think about it… your customer has placed an order, received an immediate confirmation of the sale, has been sent their tracking number via email, received a courtesy follow up email asking if everything is to their satisfaction, and has had any questions and concerns taken care of.

You tell me…is your customer now receptive and also overjoyed with their shopping experience? You bet they are! So now’s the perfect time to follow up and ask for their feedback.
But you have to do so carefully because there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it, and this is very important….

Affiliate marketers fail in their Internet Home Business or Affiliate Marketing Business because they spend 99% of their time on unproductive and quite honestly, relatively useless tasks.

What do I mean by that?

Well, instead of doing the ONLY two things that matter when building an Internet Home-Based Affiliate Marketing Business; GENERATING TRAFFIC, and CONVERTING THAT TRAFFIC, they spend their time on useless tasks.

That’s it – nothing more. Generate online traffic and convert that traffic to sales.

How do we do that? – By offering “real” value to our customers.

So instead of focusing on those two items above, most affiliate marketers get sidetracked and distracted by the next “big thing” everyone else is promoting.

Focus on building your business and you WILL succeed.

On Point number Two above…. It’s not a numbers game. It’s a business about servicing customer needs.  More on this below.

The next big reason 99% of all affiliate marketers fail to generate the maximum income possible is because they think it’s a numbers game.

They think… “If I can only put up a few more products in my ‘huge, humongous, colossal, widget online mall’, THEN I’ll really make the money.”

It doesn’t work that way – although I must admit – several years ago I thought it did. I thought it was about building the biggest and most “widget-packed” site you could build.

Build it and they will come…. That’s what I thought….  And I thought wrong.

You have to offer your customers real value. You have to build a relationship.

Internet shoppers are browsing your site for one of two reasons (see a pattern here). They are researching looking to solve a problem they have, or they’re just casually browsing along – window shopping.

Lets say I just dropped my favorite Japanese WOK and I’m having a small dinner party next month with some of my best friends (and I’m cooking)….

Now let’s say I’m browsing the Net and I come across your site – “Huge, Humongous, Colossal WOK Store”.

Am I going to order a WOK from you…maybe….but probably not…I’ll probably just head down to my local Williams & Sonoma and pick one up.

So I leave your site and you’re none the wiser. You never knew I was there and you’ll probably never see me again. CUSTOMER LOST – or more accurately, you never really had me to begin with…

Now lets change this up a bit….

Now I’m on your site (still not going to buy that WOK) but you have a link to a free e-Book on Japanese WOK cooking recipes.

EXCELLENT – I could use that for some ideas for next month.

So I register on your site and I happily download my free e-Book.

And in return (you guessed it… you now have my email address and can easily follow up with me and start to build that customer relationship).

So next month you’re running a 40% off promotion on all stir fry skillets.

You shoot out a quick broadcast email message to your registers users and voila.. I get the email and click on the link…  I could use a new skillet.

So back to my original question….

Do You Know How to Open Your Own Highly Profitable Home-based Affiliate Marketing Business Without Advertising a single affiliate product – All in Under 15 Minutes Flat Start To Finish with ZERO Investment?

By far, one of the easiest and most successful Internet Marketing or Affiliate Marketing businesses you can start is an “Affiliate Marketing Products Review Site”.

What do I mean by that?

Well it’s simple;

Lets analyze for a bit what is going through the mind of someone browsing the Internet getting ready to buy something.

When someone decides to pull out their credit card on the Internet and commit to making a purchase, they’ve probably found that product in one of two different ways.  They either found it while searching for a solution to a problem via a search engine like Google.com or they came across an incredible offer on the Net while browsing another site of interest – like their favorite gaming site.

Take me for example…just this evening….. I uninstalled my Semantic Norton 360 anti virus software on one of my PCs – I hate that program.  So onto the Internet I go searching for a better (and probably free) solution. Virus software found and transaction completed.  I was in search of a solution to my problem of purposely uninstalling my virus software.

When someone gets to your site, you want targeted traffic of people already in the buying mindset.  You want people in search of a solution – a solution that you just happen to be able to provide.

You see, this is where it gets interesting.

Typically someone will click on a product from a vendors website and then leave in search of additional information like real customer reviews.  So someone types in “Acme Widgets Reviews” in a search engine like Google.com.

Well, just this afternoon, you just happened to write a product review on your Blog titled – what else – “Acme Widgets Product Review”.

So your site (if planned out right) comes up as number 3 on www.Google.com and the soon to be buyer clicks on your link to read the review.

So lets step back for a second and analyze what we have here and look at why this method is so powerful…

• We have just published a top product review and got listed high on Google.com for that particular product name.
• We’re attracting ready buyers in search of a solution to their problem – they just need a little un-biased nudge first.
• I hate to say they’ve fallen into our trap here – because after all, it’s our intention to offer real value to those customers looking for honest product information…but…they basically have. After all it is our “real” intention is to make money isn’t it, albeit honestly and ethically.
• So the would-be buyer reads the review, likes what they read and decides to click on your product name to go back to the vendor’s website.
• And to the website they go, little do they know, however, they’re actually going to the vendor’s site – via your affiliate link. AND YOU’VE JUST MADE YOUR FIRST SALE.

Now doesn’t this seem a heck of a lot easier to sell a ready and willing customer versus the traditional method of hard selling affiliate products via Cickbank or whatever?  For those that prefer the traditional method – don’t get me wrong – that works great also and I’ll be writing more on that later…..

So – now on to the nuts and bolts – after all – we need to get your site set up, it’s been 10 minutes already – 5 minutes left……

1. You go to any free blogging site; Wordpress.com for example and set up a free blog.  It will be http://YourBlog.wordpress.com.

Now technically, I would be remiss if I didn’t emphasize the importance of actually setting up your own domain address like www.YourDomain.com and simply installing Wordpress on your domain.  This site you’re reading now is a perfect example of doing just that.

But – I promised I could get you up and running in under 15 minutes and well… for free.

So… for this example, we’ll use a free site and if you implement this little gem, email me and I’ll show you how to set up your own site under your own domain if you don’t know how.

Now back to my story…

2. Now go to www.ClickBank.com. Search around the site a bit and try and find a topic that interests you. Maybe it’s products on dog training, home business ideas, Internet Marketing, etc.

3. Do a search under that topic on Clickbank and sort by Popularity. (very simple).  You see a number of interesting products by publishers that are just dieing to get affiliates to market for them.

We’re not going to get suckered into that routine. Any old Joe (or Jane) could set up an affiliate site and try to “hard” sell these products all day long.

4. Pick a product that looks like it has a very professional sales letter and web site and genuinely looks like a top rated product.

5. Sign up as an affiliate for that product and get your affiliate ID (URL).

6. Now go to www.Google.com and do a search for that product’s name or even “Product Name Review” and see what comes up in Google.

My bet is you’ll get a ton of results.  Well, now start browsing those links and you’ll be looking for honest and un-biased review comments.

Again I’d be a little remiss if I didn’t say this… but ideally, you would actually buy the product so you know first hand how well it works.  If you contact the seller and tell them you’re writing a review of their product, they may even give you a copy for free or for a large discount. You never know unless you try J

7. Now compile those comments you found including some of your own insights/comments into the product and post your first Blog entry reviewing the product. JUST THE FACTS.

• This is un-biased content. Simply offer a professional and un-biased review of the product.

In your review, make sure you mention the product names a few times, and mention the general topic as well (e.g. – Internet Marketing). Do this a couple of times.

DO NOT TRY AND SELL THIS PRODUCT IN YOUR POST.

Add a link (your affiliate link) on your post and let the reader click that link for additional information from the Publishers (seller’s) web site.

That’s really it….

I know some of you may be thinking – what good is all this going to do….. why not try the direct sell?

Well, it’s simple – anyone can, and most people will, simply take the affiliate sales page and post it right on their web site. That means there are thousands of identical sites with the same information going for the “hard sell”.

We’re smarter than that… we go for the “soft sell”

We place the product name predominantly on our post, discuss the related field or topic it’s in.  What this is doing is using some exact “key words” for that product and triggering search engines to spider your Blog and generate free traffic because you didn’t just put up a bunch duplicate content.

Instead, you wrote a genuine and useful product article/review in your own unique words.

This is How You can Legally and Ethically “Swipe” the Profits away from your Affiliate Marketing Competitors Right from Under Their Noses.
